Grab a cuppa, fake some temporary insanity – again!, and put the phone on silent – it’s that time of the week again!
1. Gooooooo little doggie!!!!

2. A spectacular riot of colour as Holi, one of the biggest Hindu festivals kicks off in India.
I gotta get myself here one day!
3. This visual artist takes digital painting to another level.
Listed on IMDb as a:
‘renegade musical son of the American South, an artistic raconteur and provocateur, and the singer, songwriter and ringleader of the Austin, Texas-based crooked blues’n’roots band The Murdered Johns‘,
— photographer and visual artist Charlie Terrell takes digital inspiration to whole new level with this eclectic series of his so-called ‘Pagan’ portraits.

4. These colorful mansions would not be good on a hangover
A new architectural revolution is taking place in the Bolivian highland city of El Alto, where self-taught architect Freddy Mamani Silvestre, with the help of a newly elected president, has taken to designing these ‘uber-kitch’ mansions and shops, and the locals can’t get enough of them.
President Evo Morales’ leadership has brought a new-found prosperity to the often marginalised people of the region, reducing poverty by almost a third since coming to power in 2005.
For the newly affluent sectors of the population, Mamani’s works have become a status symbol, and his work is slowly transforming the once drab fasçades into colorful, some might say, slightly bizarre symbols of new-found confidence now brimming in the region.
Check out the inside shots and you’ll see what I mean by the heading of this story!
5. This arty short film is kind of adorable!
If you’re into films like Wallace & Gromit or Wrong Trousers, you’ll love this small film about an insomniac kid explaining to his kid brother about all the scary stuff that goes bump in the night.
Beautifully produced and very clever!

6. This anatomical street-art is scary/cool
How much work has gone into these??
Street artist Nychos paints these large murals of all different types of animals but in a most unusual way – he bisects them to give an intimate look at what goes on inside the animals, detailing the bones, vein structures and internal organs.
Absolutely amazing work and it never ceases to amaze me how much depth of talent is out there on the streets.
7. Australia’s own Mick Fanning surfs under the Northern Lights
In his quest to ride new waves, World Champion surfer Mick Fanning finds himself beneath Earth’s greatest light show.
While his world tour peers are jockeying for waves and points on the North Shore, Mick Fanning is standing on a desolate beach in Norway, the sky ready to open up and dump snow.
“I don’t think I’m well,” he says. “I can go anywhere in the world. Boardshorts, whatever. But no, I come here.”

10. Tech Time: Not sure we really need something like this but . . . .
Yes, in this ultra-connected world, there is now the i-Con – a connected Smart Condom that measures everything from sexual performance, calories burned, your speed, your endurance or even the number of thrusts performed.
Currently in testing, the i-Con is actually a ring equipped with nano-sensors that connects to the base of a normal condom, and comes (pardon the pun) courtesy of British Condoms.
So now you can download all that lovely info to your nearest media outlet – what fun!! 🙂
Bonus Extra – FIND THE CAT.
