Exploring New Zealand’s astonishing South island

New Zealander Rachel Stewart is a self-taught landscape, travel and adventure photographer with a passion for nature, art, adventure and the outdoors.

At one time she was happy to use her iPhone to upload occasional pics of her explorings to Instagram, but with a realisation of the importance of preserving these images, plus a growing following on social media, she made the decision to get serious, get some better camera gear and get going.

Her long exposure style and an acute eye for detail and composition have even captured the eye of professional companies, gaining her a sponsorship with LEE filters, one of the more respected brands in the photography industry.

Here she explores the world on her own doorstep, with these superb pics of New Zealand’s South Island in all its glory.

Enjoy, and thanks Rachel – keep up the great work!
