Powerful and astonishing pics from Reuters top 100 for 2016

Reuters is one  of the top news agencies in the world with some of the best photo-journalists, so it’s no wonder that the pictures they gather from around the world are as amazing as they are.

Below is a selection of their Top 100 photos for 2016 – some are funny, some are astonishing, some are truly sad, but all are taken with a clarity and honesty that few others can lay claim to achieving.
